What it is
Aberoth is a retro 8-bit fantasy MMORPG that runs in any HTML5 browser, with a standalone client as an option. You begin as a peasant with bare hands, learn skills from NPCs, fight monsters and rival players in real time and build up eight skills with an open sandbox feel; guilds, a tavern message board and a yearly fresh-start realm for new characters give veterans extra goals. Optional membership adds double-experience rest at the inn, member-only realms and the right to lead a guild.
