What it is
Battrick is a cricket management game in the Hattrick mould: you run a club against teams managed by other people, preparing the ground, training players, buying and selling on the transfer market and setting orders for 50-over league matches, three-day first-class games, a cup and a 20-over competition. Orders take effect immediately and fixtures follow a weekly schedule, so it suits short, regular visits. Playing is free; Silver and Gold memberships add extras, with Gold priced at GBP 9.50 for three months or GBP 33 a year according to the site's news.
