What it is
Chronicles of Denzar, formerly PhantasyRPG, is a free 2D browser MMORPG that has run since 2004 and borrows the look of 16-bit console RPGs. You pick one of four races, follow a class path that evolves every 25 levels, and spend sessions questing across some thirty zones, taming or slaying monsters, mining and smithing, trading at player stalls and chatting with your clan. Donations buy cosmetics, convenience and temporary server-wide buffs, while a volunteer team keeps progression free. It suits players who want a small, long-lived community rather than a crowd.
