What it is
Dragon Cave is a free adoptables site where you pick up abandoned eggs from a handful of biomes, keep them alive until they hatch and raise the adults to breed new lineages. Eggs and hatchlings need views and clicks from other visitors to mature, so the community's traffic and its trading hub are part of the game loop. New breeds are released roughly monthly, and the site has been run by a single developer since 2006.
