What it is
Mafia Wars at mafiawars.co.uk is a text-based organised-crime game set in the Prohibition era. You work through crimes, car theft and organised crime jobs, run booze, race upgraded 1920s cars, bank your takings and climb a leaderboard, while families and crews let players rise through the ranks together and a hitlist handles grudges. The landing page is a browser app that still carries the notice from its beta round, which ended on 24 March ahead of a full release on 28 March; it gives no year, pricing or developer details.
