What it is
Origins Return is a French-language browser strategy game, in development since 2005, in which you govern a planet, expand its economy and military and compete with other players across more than twenty parallel universes. Two rulesets exist: the 'Gate' version centres on large ground armies moved through a spatial portal, while the 'Space' version shifts the weight to fleets whose ships you design component by component. Alliances, trade and joint attacks are built in, and iOS and Android apps complement the browser. The game is free with in-app purchases.
