What it is
PirateQuest is a small text-based pirate RPG with illustrated menus, set in the Caribbean. You build up four stats and three attributes, collect and sell items, buy better weapons and armour, and fight monsters and other players' pirates for loot. You can also build and upgrade a ship, sail between island ports past enemy ships, run smuggling routes, and start or join a fleet of players that can go to war with other fleets at sea or on land. It is free to play with paid account upgrades, is run from Lithuania with English and Lithuanian versions, and at the time of checking showed around 300 registered pirates with a few dozen active each day.
