What it is
The Settlers Online is a free browser city-builder in the Settlers tradition: you grow an island settlement with production chains, level up by clearing bandit camps and completing quests, and take part in guild activity and trading with other players on shared game worlds. Developed by Blue Byte and published by Ubisoft from its 2011 launch, it passed to CipSoft in spring 2025, which now develops and operates it and posts frequent update, event and maintenance notices on the homepage. Premium time and other purchases are available.
