What it is
War Era is a free-to-play geopolitical strategy MMO in which every player is a citizen of a real-world country. You fight in timed battles over regions, work for or found companies in a player-driven economy, train skills, and can run for office to write laws and tax policy as president or minister. Alliances and world events shape the map, players publish their own articles and war reports, and the game is translated into around thirty languages. It is labelled beta, has an Android app, and sells gems while promising no pay-to-win.
