What it is
Worldkampf '72 is a browser grand-strategy game set in an alternate 1972 where an empire has fractured into warring factions. Players claim tiles and towns on a shared map, research technologies, build harbours and fleets, bomb and besiege, and negotiate treaties, pacts and betrayals in a full diplomacy layer, while AI factions that follow the same rules compete alongside them. Worlds tick in real time, so a war can take days; the solo developer posts dev blogs most weeks and is preparing a Steam edition with faster standalone campaigns, while the persistent online world stays in the browser.
