What it is
Imperial Conflict is a long-running text-based space strategy game. Each galaxy is a round lasting several weeks, in which one game week passes every real hour: you explore and colonise planets, balance food, iron, octarine and endurium, trade on a galaxy-wide market and build fleets. Players are grouped into families that vote for a leader, sign alliances and non-aggression pacts, and fight wars together. After a hiatus and a private beta the game reopened to the public, funded by optional Universal Credits.
