What it is
stein.world is a free-to-play 2D pixel fantasy MMORPG that began as an HTML5 hobby project and now has hundreds of quests, dungeons and wave dungeons. You explore a persistent world in real time, dodging and attacking in action combat, grouping with up to four others, learning professions such as mining, herbalism and tailoring to craft gear, and trading with other players. There is no fixed class system because items decide your playstyle, and the studio describes its shop as pay-to-skip only, with no equipment sold for money.
