What it is
FlatMMO is a 2D browser MMORPG in the old-school skilling mould, with 18 skills such as mining, forging, fishing, farming and magic, plus quests, bosses, minigames and a global player market. Sessions mix hands-on combat and gathering with slower routines like daily runs and fermenting, and there are restricted modes such as hardcore and one-skill-at-a-time. It is made by a solo developer who posts updates several times a week, with one premium subscription and tradable bonds paying for the servers.
