What it is
Massalia is a free browser strategy RPG set in the Greek colony of Massalia in the fourth century BC, with Carthage and Rome on the horizon. You pick one of eight callings, join one of ten noble houses and side with the old guard or the reformers, then trade, scheme, marry, stand for office and raise troops and ships for wars on land and sea, or found a colony of your own. Each real day advances the world by one season, so it rewards slow planning and politicking with other players over fast clicking.
