What it is
Scripters War, previously Raining Chain, is a browser action RPG in which an evil NPC, Lord Dotex, has hacked the game's source code and players try to stop him from glitching the world. Play centres on original quests mixing fast combat, puzzles and skill, with challenges, time-trial highscores, dungeons, pets, a crafting system, a passive skill tree and weekly competitions; players party up, trade and pick a side in the faction war. The site promises no installation and no pay-to-win. Its in-page changelog ends in June 2023, though the Discord server still shows people online.
